It's like regular punk, but with maple syrup?

Currently on a bit of a "The Stranglers" binge thanks to "Unknown Soldier"!
At the moment listening to Hanging Around, always loved this tune there's just something really cool about it

Listening to this, as I found out they are coming to my city. This is a whole new line up (minus Doug Donut on drums - who put it together).
Doug really is one of my favorite drummers in Canadian Punk. Along with Jon Card and Chuck Biscuits, those 2 and Doug probably make up the top 3 here for me. Yeah. New singer is actually great, holds up well to the late Pete Cleaver. Plus Mike Jak, who I saw play in the latest line up of the Dayglo Abortions, and he impressed me there. Think it stays pretty faithful to the source material.

It's a shame The Heartbreakers never got more recognition. They are as raw and glorious a rock'n'roll band as has ever been.
