Dare I say it, but it sounds almost a little insincere and generic.

Although because I was such a fan of OTIP I was persevere and listen until I appreciate this albums greatness.
I kind of agree, not nearly as confident or natural-sounding as their other three albums. Definitely the weakest of the bunch.

Half the tracks are really good, I just wish all of them were, like OTIP.

As suspected it really did sound better on second listen.
I agree it's not as consistent but when the record wants to, it really does shine.

The hits do hit.

Both of the pre-release tracks are great, as are "Rodent", "Transient Love", "My Friend Kyle" and "Sentimental Physics".

Never listened to this band before, I've just listened to ''In Remission'' and it kinda reminds me of the Flatliners in a way(which is one of my favourite bands). Also listened to some other songs and it reminds me of Against me! aswell. I also think it's funny both bands started with Ska Punk.

If you're into The Flatliners more, then check out the first two Menzingers albums. They're a lot faster-paced and more aggressive, and there's even some songs that sound like they could be Flatliners tunes. Notably, The Flats covered "So It Goes" live at the Fest one year when they and The Menzingers had conflicting set times.

I've listened to them now, I liked the albums.
However, my favourite song so far is ''Good Things'', I love it ^.^. The Obituaries and In Remission are also great.
As a whole, I think I like the first album the most.
