Greg Sage is the first name that comes to mind when I think of the best punk guitarists.

Apparently not.

Like what am I supposed to do - lie and pretend that I like Black Flag more just because everyone else does? We're talking about guitar tone anyways, not the overall quality or importance of bands.

Maybe you can just apologize and we can move on.

Doesn't matter what you do now, your punk rock opinion doesn't really count anyways. Just hang your head in shame and live your days knowing you suck in the eyes of the professional punks.

like, defend your position? instead of letting one person's opinion completely derail a thread, why don't you explain why you think FU's "guitar tone", which I'm assuming isn't a product of talent or creativity but rather how their equipment performs, is superior to Black Flag's? I'm not trying to be elitist, but that is such a ridiculous thing to claim and then run away when someone challenges it.
