Well, Television is decent. Tom Verlaine is a very skilled guitarist. When I first listened the album, Marquee Moon, I only admired it. But now I actually enjoy it (especially after I learned the lyrics and meanings of the songs). Some people debate whether or not the band is even punk, though... Crass is good too. Although, I can rarely ever understand the male singer, I can easily understand Eve Libertine who is an excellent singer. Which is probably why Penis Envy is my favorite Crass album. Okay... now it's your turn.

I suppose Refused and F*cked Up would fit under this category, I love both of them.

Daughters would be a pretty good example, I think.

Um...when I hear 'art punk', the first thing that pops in my mind are some post-punk and I guess maybe proto-punk bands...and no wave, yeah. But, it' such an umbrella term. Some obvious bands often called art punk (as well as post-punk) would be Pere Ubu, Pop Group, The Fall, Wire etc. But, how about this:

Magazine from 1978. Real Life

Maybe this overlooked, eclectic, unclassifiable band:
MX-80 Sound
This is from their 1977. album Hard Attack

I could only find this clip with some game on it

And then there is no wave
Theoretical Girls

I've also heard that some of the post-hardcore and this whole post-punk revival is sometimes called art punk. So that would make for a very long list of art punk bands.
