Not sure if you ever heard about Ashtray, but it is a great up-and-coming band. Maybe more hard-rock than grunge, but the lead singer has this Staley-like edge.
You can find them on youtube. Type 'ashtray turn off full ep' in the search bar.

Post-grunge is the worst genre ever. I hope it dies, and also people need to realise Foo Fighters are Sh*te.

Seeing as this thread is over two years old, where was that supposed grunge revival then?

I didn't realise post-grunge was still alive, it hasn't been a problem here in well over a decade. Thank fuck for not living in America.

My band Far From California is what I called "Nu Grunge" as there is "Nu Metal" where we have elements of grunge mixed with elements of other music. It's a combination of everybody but me in the band being influenced by bands such as Deftones, Tool, and The Cure while my influences include Local H, NIRVANA, Elliott Smith, Sonic Youth, and The Pixies.

Other than that I really did Violent Soho
