Default What's your opinion on Joan Jett?

I don't know much about her, and never really listened to anything by her. I know she was somewhat important to punk, but is she thought of as punk or what? And is any album by her worth getting? I know of her affiliation with The Germs album, and I love The Germs, which is why I'm curious about her.

Joan Jett really liked rock n roll...and looked pretty damn good in spandex

i have a greatest hits album and i have to admit its fun to pop on every now and then....her songs a nothing more that a little hard rockin pop songs...much like Pat Benatar (but not quite as good)

I saw her at an outdoor concert when I was in 8th grade and I ended up making out with some rocker chick I met at the show under a pine tree.

That girl and Joan Jett rocked. My friend was in the front row and can be seen waving a towel in one of the I Love Rock'n'Roll videos.

She is my favorite female rocker. I just recently found a 2-disc set of her hits that covers most of what you'd want.

Seriously? Can I get you a broom for your sweeping generalization?

Check it:

I know there are many other examples of women who rock out there, but this was the first one that came to mind.
