Favorite Jam song?
Yeah, they weren't as good as The Clash. And certainly not as important in terms of legacy (at least outside of the UK), but a great band nonetheless.
If you consider them punk -- and I do, even with the pop leanings later in their career -- what do you consider their best songs? Here's mine: 1.) Down In the Tube Station at Midnight 2.) Going Underground 3.) That's Entertainment 4.) Strange Town 5.) Funeral Pyre 6.) Man in the Corner Shop 7.) Eton Rifles 8.) Mr. Clean 9.) In The City 10.) Beat Surrender |

My favorite is probably:
David Watts A buddy of mine put that one on a roadtrip mix, so I just associate it with awesome times moreso than their other tracks. I still dig 'em overall, though. Just love that track! |

Ghosts will move me till the day I die, especially the Dig The New Breed version.
Other than that, Thick As Thieves, In The Crowd, Set The House Ablaze, The Great Depression, Away From The Numbers, Life From A Window, Dreams Of Children, Bitterest Pill, Strange Town, Happy Together, too many to mention. |

1.) "Gloria" By Patti Smith
2.) "Marquee Moon" By Television 3.) "Come Together" By MC5 4.) "Kick Out the Jams" By MC5 5.) "Gimme Danger" By Iggy Pop and the Stooges Yea, it's some old stuff, but I think they're pretty good. |

"Here Comes the Weekend". I also think "This is the Modern World" is sooo unjustly maligned.
