That's interesting. I love Hot Snakes. Swami's a great label but they also put out a lot of music that doesn't interest me much. Anyway, I'll have to give more thought to The Bronx

they are not nearly as good as Hot Snakes ....but i feel there is a similarity in the guitar work.....much like the guitar on Automatic Midnight (really all three Hot Snakes albums)...at least on this album

The Bronx are just excellent. One of the punk bands I still listen to regularly since, well, since not being into punk as much.
I think they really push what you can do within punk, while still just being badass. There is definite creativity there.
Plus they're amazing live. Really amazing.

because of this thread I just tried Hot Snakes and quite like it so far.
