F*cked Up
Does this band seriously have no thread? I did a search and could not find one. If there is one, my bad and merge!
Anyways, this F'ed Up is pretty much the best punk band of the past decade and one of the best bands to come from Canada in a long time. The Chemistry Of Common Life got a lot of love from this forum, and pretty much every critic in '08, and rightfully so. So if you haven't listened to them before, here are two of their best songs. Discuss!

Fucked Up is coming to my town next week and I'm hoping to get a ticket if I can. The venue is really tiny, which should make their music sound even bigger. These guys are pretty great, and seeing them would be really awesome.

Pretty good album here, and definitely worth checking out. The only thing I could possibly think of that would turn you off from this band is the singer's voice, but everything else is pretty amazing.

the singers voice is the only thing about this record that makes it even sort of sound like hardcore punk. if anyone has a problem with it they should stick to the arcade fire and stop pretending to be into "edgy" music. |

It does work for the context of the music, but at the same time, like I said, it may be the only criteria that would raise the most subjective opinions.

Obviously that statement was very opinionated, but I would love to hear which punk bands of the past decade you think are better. This is not an attempt to start an argument, this is me asking for your recommendations.
But back to F'ed Up, I've been meaning to check out their EP's and singles. I've only listened to Year Of The Pig so far, and it's fantastic. Has anyone else listened to their many singles/EP's?
