Default Canadian punk

Anyone into the Viletones, Demics, Pointed Sticks the late 1970's stuff from up north. Viletones-Screamin fist, Backdoor to hell. Demics-New York City, Oh Well. Pointed Sticks-Somebodies Mom, Marching Song. Also Forgotten Rebels, Diodes, D.N.A. Canada had a great punk scene in the late 70's.

I came here to mention Nomeansno, definitely one of the best Canadian bands for me. They've just been announced to play at the Godspeed-curated ATP in December, anyone who's not heard them should sort that out immediately.

who else? I used to like DOA, one of the better canadian hardcore bands.

lucky bugger, i've never had the chance to see those old dudes strut their stuff but if the clips are any indication they've only gotten more intense with age.

quite enjoy the humour of the Day-Glo Abortions as well (just don't ever google image search them while eating).

D.O.A. and the Neos were the two best canadian bands.
In more recent times I have enjoyed D.F.A. from Saskatchewan.
