I think the best way to help you is ask what you mean by "feeling." How do you WANT to feel? How do you expect to feel? What are you looking for?

And though I will wait to seriously suggest anything until I get a reply, my personal favorite punk band (and one of my favorite bands ever, period) is Iggy and the Stooges. Their album Funhouse blew me away on my first listen, and I've loved them ever since. Here's a track from that album.

Now, some naysayers will claim that The Stooges were not punk, but honestly, anyone with a set of ears can hear that they are not just punk, they are possibly the FIRST punks. And if not the first true punk rockers, undoubtedly the most influential of the proto-punk rockers.

Enjoy.
