I'm not sure how well they fit in with what you want but I recommend Dazzling Killmen for jazzy hardcore.

have you heard alice donut?
YouTube - Alice Donut - Untidy Suicides

also The Hanson Brothers (which is literally all of NoMeansNo with a different lead singer and more conventional punk rock)
YouTube - THE HANSON BROTHERS - Comatose.wmv
While Alice Donut wasn't really the sound I was after, I will definitely be looking up some stuff by them because that song you posted was pretty good.

As far as The Hanson Brothers are concerned, I've been aware of them since I found NoMeansNo, but their music just doesn't grab me in the same way. I was never really too big into the Ramones and their influence on The Hanson Brothers is pretty significant. Also their music is a little too Canadian for me. While I'm proud to be a Canadian, I don't really need that to ring out in my music.

I appreciate the prompt response though and will definitely look up some Alice Donut.

Definitely more along the lines of what I was looking for musically, but I'm not sold on the vocalist. Sorry for sounding a little fussy but hardcore punk vocals never really did anything for me, and this is no exception. Still I might look up one of their CD's based on the melody alone. Thanks

another band that is sort of "fringe" punk rock is Cows
YouTube - Cows - Sugar Torch (Video)

their later albums like Cunning Stunts and Sexy Pee Story.,..remind me of a less sarcastic NoMeansNO

I think Tora! Tora! Torrance! would be something to look at. They're newer and the lead singers voice can get abit irritating... but- all together I like them.

Husker Du maybe... another great Punk band from the MN scene.

I'm stuck on The Slits - Cut.
I downloaded all of the bands who got big from the roxy just hoping to find another band as good as them.
Does anyone know anything similar to this great band?
Thanks
