I've been wanting to get more into grindcore recently, I made a list by browsing various threads and forums of bands I heard people recommending, but it ended up getting pretty big, so I just wanted to get some recommendations of what bands and albums I should prioritize, as well as anything that isn't on the list, and also maybe any that I shouldn't bother with, so I can start some downloading, I have already downloaded some gridlink and have been really enjoying it, here is my list:
Discordance Axis
Birdflesh
Dropdead
Magrudergrind
Cyness
Regurgitate
Retaliation
Nasum
As The Sun Sets
Shed For You
Maruta
Pig Destroyer
Brutal Truth
Gadget
Insect Warfare
Watchmaker
The Great Redneck Hope
Letters In Binary
The Sawtooth Grin
Lymphatic Phlegm
Cloacal Kiss
Agoraphobic Nosebleed
Captain Cleanoff
Gridlink
Sore Throat
A Black Rose Burial
Cephalic Carnage
Repulsion
Terrorizer
Assück
Naked City
Rotten Sound
Leng Tch'e
Graf Orlock
Converge
****... I'm Dead
Narcosis
Oath To Vanquish
Circle Of Dead Children

Default Fav punk songs of mine; know any similar style??

I listen to all kinds of music, one style I love is this certain type of punk, mostly old covers...can anyone add any songs of the same style to this list?

DOA Midnight Special
jello and DOA We Gotta get Outta This Place
Skrewdriver back with a bang (hey I just like the music!)
Circle jerks Put a Little Love in Your Heart
Exploited Dead Cities

mostly covers, not exactly all the same, but can you see what I mean about the kind of old school punk-pop style? Can anyone add anything I may not have heard? I especially love when they punk up oldies

Im not quite clear on what you're asking
You asking for retro punk song covered by modern punk bands? is that it?

Why not go for the original songs?

I like the chugga chugga 'pop' style rhythms with the kinda classic rock-ish vocal melodies. I don't know how to really word it so i just gave examples of some of my favorites.

I think most of those I listed were recorded about 30 years ago, so punk that was kind of paying homage to 60's rock/pop music. Looking for other songs with similar guitars and vocal, probably nothing that was recorded too recently, but i could be wrong...does that make any sense?

Guerilla from Chicago. A little punk and they touch on grunge as well. Check out their bandcamp you can stream it for free.

If you like Gridlink, Discordance Axis is imperative. From there, I'd also go with Pig Destroyer, Leng Tch'e, Rotten Sound, Insect Warfare, and Gadget. Those are all awesome bands really, but you'd probably get a kick out of those mentioned if you already like GridLink. The Sawtooth Grin and As the sun Sets would work as well, but they're pretty god damn technical. Try Bodies in the Gears of the Apparatus and the Kill and Antigama too.

And Assuck, they're not even on that list? That's grindcore 101.

Assück - Anticapital LP - YouTube
Discordance Axis - The Inalienable Dreamless (FULL) - YouTube
BODIES IN THE GEARS OF THE APPARATUS War Engine - YouTube
The Kill - ****ing Doyle - YouTube
Antigama - Meteor 2013 Full Album - YouTube
