If anybody else has any more songs or bands to suggest that fit what I'm looking for, it would still be appreciated though. I think I would prefer a variety so I know what I'm listening to. If you get what I'm saying.
For clarification, it doesn't necessarily have to be aggressive, the song(s) itself just has to be violent, maybe even evil and sound punk. Last edited by Humility; 04-29-2013 at 03:30 PM. |

well its female fronted and violent....but not about being hated but rather about hating and punishing those who kill innocence...and in no way is it evil as its it about killing those who slaughter those with no voice....still a great band |

I quite hate Ramones. None of this is meant to piss anyone off, even though it is my first post here, and considering the section I understand how some readers might find it offensive or "in the wrong category". I just call it as I see it. Anyways, I am trying to educate myself on older punk, and since I mainly can not stand Ramones, at all, I'd like some suggestions as to what other significant punk bands to try out. Some Ramones songs I like, it's the vocals that push me in other directions. I am especially interested in British punk bands but I am open to listening to any you deem significant. Thanks in advance.

Sex Pistols and the Clash all the way for me. Although, I do like the Ramones and the Dead Kennedys as well.

I love the Long Beach scene. Carpit has opened for some pretty damn good bands and played all of the punk fest dealios. They are one of those bands that avoids any type of spotlight and play all the ****ty venues so this old myspace is about all I could locate. |
