Well, if you didn't like Funhouse, I personally can't help you... don't give up yet though. I'm not the most knowledgeable member when it comes to punk by any means, someone else may have what you're looking for. Just keep your ears (and mind) open.

This is actually from 1978, and titled "Thin White Line" - the album was released in '83.
They played Winterland at the famed Sex Pistols show.
Legendary SF band!

If they don't like The Stooges, only God can help them.

SLF were one of my all time favorite bands...still are, actually! Here's something from their classic years.

More Classic SLF! Powerful, melodic, and seriously a Punk classic.

A classic clip from The Young Ones. The episode was called Nasty, and centered around the "Video Nasty" controversy in England at the time that mainly targeted Horror films. A song (and show) of it's time...but timeless!

More classic Damned, this time from their early days when they were on Stiff Records. Legendary clip!

Maybe I can help out introducing The Stooges. Here's something from the legendary concert in 1970. This to show an example of how wild and influential they were.

Stooges footage kicks in at about 35 seconds after the introduction.

Great vintage DKs clip.

Don't be fooled by the show's name, it was one of the most mad shows of it's time. Hosted by Peter Ives (sp?), this captured the Early 80's California scene very well. Videos of clips of this series were made by Rhino, and were seen at video rental places, offering those who were not close to the action an introduction to some very influential Punk.
