Crass is okay. They seem a bit too angry and can't keep a strong thought like Minutemen. Although, I'[m sure that this'll change. I know I'll come to like them eventually. Penis Envy is a decent album, and I think it's cool that they're diving into the realm of sexism.

F*cked Up immediately came to mind, but you'd probably hate them because of the vox.

You are also right. They are the same situation with the other band. The instrumental is great, but the vocals are terrible (in my opinion, maybe not yours).

What do you mean can't keep a strong thought? Crass, to me, are one of the most thoughtful bands that ever made music. I think punk that matters is usually pretty angry.

The real problem is that they're so angry and I cannot understand a word the singer is saying (aside from when Eve Libertine sings).

This might tickle your fancy:

Although This Heat leans more toward avant garde and post punk, they always remind me of Crass on the level of their anger and disdain, although theirs leans more toward desperately beautiful and Crass is more military and just pure anger and noisy without being as melodic as This Heat. This Heat can somehow fuse lots of noise and beauty and make some ****ing amazing music

Been really into this band called Arctic Flowers lately. They're from Portland and they have a real raw kinda feel to them. They also seem to be pretty good people from the little bit that I've chatted with them. Can't really find any videos on YouTube, only some live stuff with bad quality.

here's the best I could find.

I think they're worth a shot. Let me know if you want to try them, they have a 3 song demo out that's pretty hot.
