Why Is Blondie Considered Punk?
blondie gets lumped in with the rest of early new york punk, but the stuff i've heard from them seemed pretty far off from punk. from what I understand in their early days they were a punk band, so can someone show me what they sounded like in those days

they're punk the same way that No Doubt used to be.
although i remember reading that they did have an much more stripped down sound initially. it's only when they started trying to get more commercial success that they decided to start discofying their punk. |

Forget the old days of Blondie bogey
Check out Blondie's "Tide is High" and "Sunday Girl". That is the hardest Punk I ever heard in my life Yo! Oh Yeah... also Listen to "Union City Blue" Dude, & "Dreaming" (if I think of anymore I'll holler) |

Ha!
No not that kind of Hoovering... You're the one Dreaming now! Real Hoovering I mean. Certain Tunes make such a chore a less horrible experience. I've been known to dance with my hoover during a good tune. I bet you think that sucks. |
