Default Favorite Post-Punk Band?

Whats your favorite post-punk band ( i feel as though lots of people will say joy division lol)

My favorite band is Mission of Burma

They were the first post-punk i listened to and got into them by my friend from high school who moved to boston and came back with all this cool music bands from boston i never heard of

I have all their albums and know each by heart

Enough about me, what about you guys?

Post-Punk is an umbrella term used to describe a vast and varied amount of musicians/bands, it really is too difficult to decide upon one favourite.

yeah i totally get what your saying kinda like going more underground into using new things sorta like synths in Krautrock.

Im just thinking about guys like Gang of Four and Joy Division who were literally late 70s and early 80s only

The only one I really care for is Echo & The Bunnymen... unless post-hardcore counts as post-punk.

huh? they dont seem post punk to me.

Echo and the Bunnymen is DEFINITELY post punk
but I think they blow

Mine would have to be the Comsat Angels or Gang of Four
Or maybe Lilliput
