I´m not really complaining as much as i´m comparing the two bands...
And you can´t call my argument stupid if you completely disregarded it. I was pointing out how much of Nirvana´s material in my opinion sound´s the same. Which i think makes them sort of a redundant act, hence why i choose The Pixies as the superior band. Oh well, cheers for people having divided opinions i suppose.

If you'd actually read and consider previous posts you'd see that nobody was literally saying Pixies are punk, the punk ethos is just a component in their sound, which I think is accurate.

Good one with Shitvana by the way, yours is a very sophisticated brand of humour, clearly.

why is nirvana shitvana?

okay, i can see how some do like them, not something everybody enjoys personally, but to just call them shit is not right. They did have talent. Kurt, while he may have been a minimal guitarist in technique did have a god sense of melody, his vocals as well. He knew how to be simple but inject basic melody into his sound, he was good at composing poppy tunes that while yes, are basic and simple still suited the songs. Not every guitarist has to be a Eddie Van Halen, Jimi Hendrix or Micheal Angelo Batio... sometimes it is harder to write a simple song than it is to just shred and be technical.

Interested in hearing what reasons you have to dislike them. Interested in seeing what counters you have to my statement above.
