ok i get it. you feel i'm a bit biased since i know nothing about pixies and i happen to really like one song from Nirvana. what's left for me to do to answer this thread? you don't expect me to spend several days listening to each one of their songs before i make a vote here. i know my decision to choose Nirvana is quite, uhm, a little bit unfair but basing on the current knowledge that i have between the two, i think it's my safest answer.

how would you feel if i just say, i voted Pixies because, no i just don't know. i just voted them...wouldn't that be way more unfair and downright stupid?

Why not take the time to listen to a few songs by each band on youtube and then make a decision? That'll only take half an hour at the most.

Has he actually even heard Nirvana? I was under the impression from what he said that he has only heard "Smells Like Teen Spirit" covered by some American Idol contestant.

Easily Pixies. Nirvana was the first of the two I discovered but I find Pixies' music far more unique and varied. Albums like Surfer Rosa and Doolittle I'll probably never tire listening to whereas Nirvana gets old after some time.

Yep the Casey Abrams version which i might add was absolutely horrible.
