The Pixies vs Nirvana

I usually go to shows just for the energy anyway, half the time I could care less what the sound quality is because I'm up to my neck is stranger's sweat.

I voted "Nirvana is way better".
I haven't actually heard anything from Pixies but I do know 1 song from Nirvana which is "Smells Like Teen Spirit" which was sung by Casey Abrams in American Idol and I've grown to like it.
So I think they're the better band in my opinion.

ok i get it. you feel i'm a bit biased since i know nothing about pixies and i happen to really like one song from Nirvana. what's left for me to do to answer this thread? you don't expect me to spend several days listening to each one of their songs before i make a vote here. i know my decision to choose Nirvana is quite, uhm, a little bit unfair but basing on the current knowledge that i have between the two, i think it's my safest answer.

how would you feel if i just say, i voted Pixies because, no i just don't know. i just voted them...wouldn't that be way more unfair and downright stupid?

Now you`re trolling on this thread! and aren`t you the person that hates heavy metal? And when you were asked what metal bands you`ve listened to reach that conclusion, you named Nirvana as being one of them

Now it seems you only know one Nirvana song, which you also happen to like, which is kind of weird considering you view this band as heavy metal! You`ve also no knowledge of the Pixies either
