Default Pil

hey, I was just standing there in the thrift store in my town and out the corner of my eye, I happened to see a tape of PIL's Happy? I absolutely love the Sex Pistols as most of you know and I love any outer projects done by Johnny Rotten or John Lyndon....anyway, if anyone can post up some **** on PIL or Rotten's other projects, it would be apreciated, and there is nothing on Rancid on this site...I would like to see some **** on them too if you guys can find it...I am not very good at using a computer,

Happy is one of the late 80s P.I.L. albums that really ought to be avoided like the plague.

The best album you can get is Metal Box/Second Edition which is an absolute work of genius.

First Issue , This Is What You Want This Is What You Get & Album/Cassette/Compact Disc (Depending on which format you buy) are also worth getting. Flowers Of Romance isn`t bad but it`s a little harder to get into. The other remaining albums are pretty weak & should be avoided.

If you like those I suggest you check out some other bands in the same vein such as Suicide , Throbbing Gristle & Caberet Voltaire.

It`s only hard to find if you want it in the original format i.e. 4 12" discs in a film can (Hence the Metal Box title). It was re released about 3 or 4 years ago so you shouldn`t have too much trouble getting it.
