Well I don't even know what those mean so I guess I can agree with you there. However, if you have a bunch of people who only listen to punk and are pretty knowledgeable about it, it might be helpful to have a distinction like that.

Totally agree. Im gonna create my own genre,I'll call it:Mexican guy who plays funk,core metal,ska,skapunk,skacore,crusty underpants core heavy maniac,jazzy rock.
