Back in the late 70s punk was mostly about image, as far as the general public were concerned.

But that's not the point I was making. The point was image was everything as far as punk was concerned back then and Sid Vicious was the perfect example of that. When I was school he was the most famous punk around and he'd already been dead for a couple of years.
