The Mummies

Not strictly punk but they adhere to the DIY asthetic. Who are The Mummies? Who cares? A bunch of middle aged bankers hiding their identities under costumes and cranking out fantastic dirty garage punk for us to enjoy (probably). Breaking down music to it's most raw and enjoyable form, these guys quite simply kick ass.

Only issuing their albums on vinyl until the early 00's they reek of fun and more fun. Fuck. This is the sort of sound I would kill to hear live. Proving that anyone can make music if they enjoy it, The Mummies; with just one album I own have swiftly become all that is great about music and a kick up the arse to mainstream banality.

Terrible quality but they don't do promos!

Fuck C.D's It's The Mummies is their debut. Own it now.
