I like both I guess, but when I think of newer punk bands I don't think of greenday...I think of bands that have been started fairly recently if that's what you mean. |

I don`t really see how a band could be punk now.
I was always under the impression punk was a movement against the mainstream , Punk has been mainstream now for 25-30 years so therefore any band who calls themselves punk cannot be punk. QED |

I like both, because there are a hell of a lot more new punk bands besides blink 182 and green day. Just out of curiosity, how new are we talking about? bands started in the 90's and on?
