Hi guys,

My name is Przemek, I'm from Poland, and as you can see I'm new to this forum.

I'm finishing my studies next year, and I'd like to write my MA about the way the popular press in the UK pictured the early days of Punk. I was wondering if mayby anybody here has got some newspaper articles from late 70's/early 80's relating to the Punk, punk bands etc. If so, I'd be much greatful if I could get scans of some of them.

I've tried getting to some newspaper archives (checked Guardian, The Independent, The Sun) but it's very hard to find anything about this precise period, and you have to pay to get access to it.

I'm not interested in newspapers that specialise in music issues - I've got enough materials of that sort. I need some articles form tabloids, broadsheets, the dailies, any kind of popular press articles.
