The Gaslight Anthem are good.

I like them because they have this cheesy feeling to them. Senor and the Queen EP is the best.

Agreed, I like their Pretty Hot split as well, but any album is a good album for them.

And I like Gaslight Anthem too, it took a while for me to give them a chance, but after I did I found them to be surprisingly good.

The last 3-4 songs on the Pretty Hot split are brilliant.

My favorite folk punk split is defiance, ohio and one reason. One of the gems of my record collection.

Yeah, the Pretty Hot split is awesome too. Surprisingly, I might actually like their side a bit more if only because of 'Carlisle'.

I haven't heard the Defiance, Ohio/One Reason split but 'All Rivers Run South, All Roads Lead Home' is a pretty decent album.

Blackbird Raum! They use all sorts of neat instruments to create a very unique sound.

Default Folk Punk?

Fantastic stuff. Recently I have been enjoying This Bike Is A Pipe Bomb, Ghost Mice and especially Andrew Jackson Jihad. There is something about the album Can't Maintain that is just...well great.

Thoughts, recommendations, or general appreciation of a truly underrated genre.

I like your tastes already, annoying one character name.

If you like those three, I would assume you've heard of my favorite band, Defiance, Ohio...
