Tape/cdr trading
So I've found myself pretty bored recently and hankering for some new music so I fgured Id see if any of you cats wanted to trade tapes/cdrs. Its simple as this, you send me a list of the kind of stuff you want and I send you a tape with as much of that as I can find, and then you send me a tape/cdr in return. I would send cdrs but I've been having trouble with my burner and I have no discs. Not to mention iI have almost no mp3's. I really want to trade tapes of local bands but all music is welcome. So if your intrested post here or something.

So seeing as no one has really responded to this, maybe Ill try to kick it off. I got some time on my hands and Im hankering to make a tape, so the first person to PM me gets a free tape of punk and hardcore from around the world past and present. Ill probobly include alot of material from local bands but you can rest assured there will be lots of good stuff on it. Im more inclined to give this to some people more than others because I feel like it would be lost and forgotten about in a week by some people and others might acctually listen to it. But anyway if you want it just PM me and we can talk.

Massive copyright issues? What are you talking about? Im making a tape and giving it to someone I highly doubt the FCC is going to come after me for doing it. Its been happening for like 2 decades now ya know? I dont think your very familiar with the the way the world works if you think that Im going to get in trouble for copywrite issues for making a tape. Your more liabal to face major copyright issues form downloading music.
Anyway I think what you people understand is this isnt just about listening to music. Its about interacting with other people. Communicating making new friends/aquantices and sharing music with them that you enjoy. I know the majority of people would rather just sit around on there computer and download songs, but this is something thats fun to do because it involves you in the punk COMMUNITY not just listening to the music acctualy physical interactions with another person. I dont think many people understand that in the digital age. Anyway like Ive said befopre mp3's suck if you are poor and dont have an mp3 player and this is way funner because Quote:
