Default Backroom Boys

Unfortunately it's the only thing they ever released. Sadly, Vic Sampson has now passed away, still number 3 in the Guinness book of records for the largest great white shark ever caught. The rest of the group are all still around. Mickey English former Splodgenessabounds / The Godfathers guitarist was recently playing with a band called the Love Birds and a Bob Dylan covers band called Two Bob. Fellow writer Bill Stark (William Dettlef Chapman) who supplied the original fish in the bum crack Splodgenessabounds logo is now a successful abstract painter, who's exhibited in the royal academy and the Tate modern. Former Fruupp pianist Johnny 'fingers' Mason has recently had a number 2 in the US billboard chart thanks to an American rap artist called Talib Kweli sampling one of his Fruupp tunes 'Sheba's Song', but unfortunately he's not too well at the moment after suffering a stroke. The vocalist was Slim Tarrant (Chris Tarrant's brother or cousin?) I don't really know about him. Lin and Pete are still around I think? I hope that helps a bit. Oh, and 'Mine's a Light and Bitter' was supposed to be THE single. W
