Did Sid Vicious Have Any Talent?
Hey. Don't get me wrong, i think Sid Vicious was awesome and he was an alright bassist. And an... okay singer. But alot of people tell me that he was actually a really useless musician. But anyways, i wanna know what you guys think. I mean, I will admit he wasn't so great solo, but i personally don't think he was half bad. And about the bass thing, i know he took a while learning it, but i have been told by bassists that he never played well. So let me know, I think he was awesome.

He sucked. No talent. I deffinetly give him propr for being such a punk icon but as for musical talent there was nothing there. Acctually I didnt mind his singing but he couldnt play bass to save his life.

You do know that he didnt play bass for the majority of never miond the bollacks right? He was to wasted to come into the studio and when he came he couldnt play anyway so they had other people play bass most the album. Most the live material i've heard is pretty poor quality to start with but the bass is pretty below par.
