Quit sniveling, you have the right to listen to what you want and we have just as much of a right to make fun of the artists you listen to (as long as it doesn't get to the point of vindictive remarks towards you, which I don't think it has). Also, before you go denouncing every genre but rock, perhaps you should consider trying what we like from each respective genre, maybe you just haven't heard the best that genre has to offer.

See, that's where you're wrong.

I said how I have my list of bands that I like that changed music...I didn't say that they were ETF.

I'm saying that the bands I like that meant something, like Maiden, Metallica, Megadeth, Sabbath, Zeppelin, etc.

You criticize my music but like bands like those? Pretty much the exact same genre/style/scene/etc.

How was Alesana bad though? You don't like them or just they didn't play good?

Oh. What's your favorite song(s)?

I saw a vid of Ambrosia online and it was like spot on.

So then what are the bands of the genre that you really like?

If you're talking about my favorite songs by alesana then pretty much everything off their first album, their second is iffy to me.

I like alexisonfire, all that remains, atreyu (prior to lead sails papor anchor), august burns red, avenged sevenfold (prior to city of evil), The Bled, Blood Brothers, Bring me the horizon, A change of pace, Chiodos is alright, A day to remember (guilty pleasure), Enter shikari, Every time i die, From autumn to ashes, He is legend, etc. etc. etc.

What's funny is that these bands sound nothing alike. The only similarities are that they have screaming and they're influenced by hardcore.
