I only know of a handful of people who've heard of them before in my life.

And I'm not a big fan of the Distillers.
I'm bigger fans of The Donnas than I am of these guys surprisingly enough.

And I take it bands like Garbage don't count as girl fronted punk rockers.
Oh well. Shirley Manson can rock my world any time.

pretty girls make graves...now that is an absolutly awsome band and her voice is amazing, although I'm not a fan of female fronted bands that one completely caught my attention! or are they not punk rock...? Still good :clap:

The Slits~great classic all girl punk mixing punk and dance
X-Ray Spex~another classic female fronted band Oh Bondage, Up Yours!
Bride of No No~female fronted noise punk band from Chicago

^^ doesnt anti product have a male singer, i know they have the chick bassist? same with naked aggression and tourettes (these are metal groups) and i didnt know aus rotten had any females in the group. i agree with vice squad theyre good.

Anti Product has a female vocalist (ive got a live video of one of their shows) but after searching for them on the net, i found a few other anti product bands, and I dont think any of those were the band I was refering to.

The lead singer for Naked Aggression is Kirsten (also the singer for Meet the Virus) the guitarist(Phil - R.I.P) sang too, maybe thats who you were thinking of?

Tourettes are an all girl punk band from Berkley (not sure if they still play)

Aus Rotten has 2 singers - Adrienne has been singing on and off with them for a few years

I dont consider any of these bands metal. Aus Rotten is close, but I think they are more crust or gutterpunk than metal.

Somebody should reccomend me some songs by Aus Rotten. I've heard a couple and I like what i've heard.

i personally like the 96 release the system works for them, it comes with an xtra cd from a political prisoner, but the first song on that cd 'battlefields still read' is my personal fav.

My girlfriend turned me on to Inspect Her Gadget, Riot a'Go-Go, X-ray Specs, Le Tigre, and non-punk but awesome: Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Cigarette.

Le Tigre, and X-ray Specs are good bands, Ive never heard Inspect Her Gadget, but the name is funny.
