I was kidding on both accounts. Except dreads do look cool as hell but yes, Im aware of the effort it takes to deal with them and how absolutly terrible they will look if you dont.

I just cut mine out last week, they got to be too much work.

my wife had dreads for the longest time, when she eventually got tired of them and wanted a change, instead of cutting them out, we used a lot of baby oil and patiently combed each one out. It took about 4 days or roughly 10 hrs to do. Her hair was kinda poofy for the first couple days, but it looks fine now.

Ha ha awesome. I cut mine out, then conditionered the hell outte them, then sat in the shower and combed them for about 2 hours.

o god, I have had every punk haircut imaginable, choppy and messy, shoulder legnth with the underneath shaved, bald, baby mohawk, actual mohawk, chelsea cut, even a clean cut side part to go with a punky clothing line....and all the dyed colours of the rainbow....i can't tell you what to choose, but i liked the baby mohawk best, got that right now again 'xcept i got a long side part to go with it,....
