hmm my favorite punk bands... gotta be the classics (gotta thank one of my HS teachers for introducing me to his music :p)

Yes because a fan of Flogging Molly & Dropkick Murphy's wanting similar bands is really going to want to listen to 20 minute dronefests & out of tune viola playing.

My recommendations would just be Minutemen, Misfits, and Husker Du. Standard stuff, in my opinion. Offspring's good if you don't mind not getting the whole underground Punk ****, cuz they're fun and easy to listen to.
