Johnny Thunders & the Heartbreakers - LAMF
New York Dolls - S/T
Buzzc.ocks - Another Music In a Different Kitchen
The Ruts - The Crack
Iggy & the Stooges - Raw Power

Those are five of the albums that got me started on punk, so they're a pretty safe bet for ya

Yes because a fan of Flogging Molly & Dropkick Murphy's wanting similar bands is really going to want to listen to 20 minute dronefests & out of tune viola playing.

The Germs
Bad Religion
Dead Kennedys
DOA
The Clash

Incesticide is actually a collection of pre-Nevermind Nirvana material, in otherwords, their earlier stuff.

And as far as this thread goes, I like punk, but I hate Flogging Molly and Dropkicks, so all of my reccomendations are pointless

My recommendations would just be Minutemen, Misfits, and Husker Du. Standard stuff, in my opinion. Offspring's good if you don't mind not getting the whole underground Punk ****, cuz they're fun and easy to listen to.
