Is rise against considered punk?

I think it is.

But alot of people call it emo, what are they?

google isnt a god. look at your signature buddy. its not like i can type in what genre is Rise against and a big flashing word will appear. plus i want everybodies opinion.

They're very borderline. Pretty much punk for scene kids.

People call Rise Against emo? Dang, and I thought people couldn't get any stupider. Rise Against is a punk band. Further Seems Forever is an emo band. :P

Revolutions Per Minute is Rise Against's best album, am I right?
