I'm partial to the Fat Wreck Chords/Epitaph style of punk. Lagwagon, Millencolin, NOFX, MxPx, Pennywise, etc. Most classic punk elitists hate it, but skaters (eg. me) love it. I also love Ramones and The Clash. I dig quite a few Misfits, Dead Kennedys, and Bad Brains tracks too.

yeah I have to agree with that. Punk was needed at the time. Today I find it to be the same boring shlock pushed into a talentless corner because anyone who shows a glimmer of interest isn't punk enough.
And lets not even begin to talk about that flagrantly ridiculous "strait-edge" movement. What a bunch of brainwashed looney toons. |
