They are good.
I saw them a while ago. My brother loves them. I like their version of "doesn't make it alright" by the specials. So true that song. I also love their version of "why" by the specials. I can't find it though on record now. Listen to the specials version of why. I love why by the specials and I am sure I had a copy by SLF years ago. |

The ones I could recommend through actual listening would be:
Misfits Ramones Husker Du Blondie (if we're saying they're Punk) Offspring the Stooges the Clash Television And I would name some others, but I've only heard 1 or less songs by them. =/ |

Fantastic band.
As for The Thermals, their 2006 album was fairly good, IMO.
