I totally agree, simple plan is ruining all the true punk bands out there. It's a known fact that it's impossible for the real punk bands to have any kind of success while people are buying simple plan albums. The music industry isn't big enough to have people like different kinds of music, so if bands like simple plan are popular, it prevents everyone else from listening to the good music. People should never just be able to listen to what they want, because if they want to listen to simple plan, then it ruins punk's image, and every good punk fan should be really concerned about bands like simple plan and good charlotte ruining our hard core image. DAMN YOU SIMPLE PLAN!! DAMN YOU!!!!

disclaimer: In the event that you are unable to recognize obvious cases of sarcasm, it should be noted that the above post is not to be taken literally. It is a tactic used to poke fun at a certain mindset by exagerating the viewpoints in order to bring to light the illogical reasoning behind them. If you were too stupid to figure that out before reading this disclaimer, immediately go to the nearest construction site, find a large, blunt object (preferably a brick), and hit yourself over the head repeatedly.

maybe the fact that they are getting that much negative attention should tell you something, because you sell a lot of records doesn't mean you're any good, and just because you wear torn plaid pants and have a blue mohawk doesn't mean you are a punk. It's about heart and having conviction in your beliefs, that because something is the way it is, or is the accepted mainstream doesn't necessarily make it right.
In my humble opinion, Simple Plan is like so many others, a boy-band with guitars |
