The Pistols are my favorite band ever, and NMTB and Spunk are my two favorite non-Bob Dylan albums. Sid sucked, but NTMB is basically a Steve Jones wall of sound with Johnny Rotten wailing over the whole din, so Sid doesn't really come into the picture there...


Anyway, for the actual poll, I think both bands are pretty mediocre, but I'd have to vote for the Clash, simply because their first album (the UK version) is pretty good.

I'd go with the Clash, since the Ramones' first album was super duper repetitive. And I haven't listened to the Sex Pistols.

Tomorrow

The Clash; never got into the Ramones apart from a few songs. I think it's because they were too influenced by the Beach Boys... whom I strongly dislike.
