They weren't typical "rock stars" you uneducated twat. They sold Sandinista! (three pieces of vinyl) at a single LP price, so their fans could afford it. They oversold Bond's Casino, and double booked so everyone would see them play. Rudi Peni is OKAY but they could never reach the level of the Clash, or be nearly as ****ing relevant, and I'm sure that get's on Blinko's nads. As for the Ramones, idgaf.

Otherwise you end up with mindless crap with no backbone. Don't get me wrong I'm guilty of listening to it. It's more of a general statement.
It's kinda what defines you as punk IMO. Something has too. I mean what some people consider punk now is unreal. It's how punk started and should be honored. And no ..I don't think Ramones started it. |
