Hands down the clash wins. They were both great bands but the clash progressed where the ramones put out so many songs that sounded the same. Btw the damned lick balls I bet u r gonna tell me u like the pogues too.

I don't know why people insist on calling the Pogues a punk band anyway.
They might have started as one or have members that used to be in punk bands but you are going to use that criteria you could call stadium rock shite like Big Country punk as well.

Urban, I don't really consider The Pogues punk, they have some punk elements (their singer especially) but take those away and you've got a good ol' Irish folk band |

I love both of them. I don't know if I can choose. It's like comparing apples to oranges. Actually not at all. It's more like red grapes to slightly less red and a tad more purple-y grapes. But they're so different yet share some of the most fundamental qualities of a musical group... like genre...
I think I like the music of the Clash more. It's probably more interesting, to break it down. And I know their stuff like the back of my hand. But I've been in love with Joey Ramone since before I could walk and talk. He's my favorite person. I mean really, how can you look and that and not be like "Wow, he's ****in awesome" |
