Give em enough rope gets a listen more than most from back then but I still think their debut was their finest

London Calling for me. Just listening to the new Joe Strummer compilation, 001 - he sure made some great stuff on his own!

Tis an underrated album with some pure fire tracks.

London Calling may be the obvious answer but it's one of the best albums of history of music.

Really! I never expected that someone that knows The Clash hadn't heard it because it's their most famous album.

Except maybe for "Should I Stay or Should I Go" track from Combat Rock.

Speaking as an old punk , I'd have to say The Clash ( first ) followed by Rope . Didn't like them once they'd moved away from punk , just wasn't for me any more .
