I have the essential Radio Birdman 1974-1978, it's fantastic.

Dead Boys are great, although I do prefer Pere Ubu.

Everyone should have The Dead Boys Young Loud and Snotty in their Punk collection. I have'nt heard Radio Birdman though

Good idea. The whole "sex pistols is punk" thing is a total myth. As far as objective reality goes, that band was and always has been nothing but **** rock. **** waggling, swaggering, commercialy orriented **** rock.
