I know this is off topic but have you ever been to Edinburgh because I've been thinking about moving there, or London when I get older.

many times m8. its a wonderful City, very flamboyant. Not as cultured or atmospheric as Glasgow but still very well kept. i recommend Glasgow as a place to move to, its just a wonderful City. its night live is nifty, the people are polite and genuine. The banter is second to none and there no shortage of shops. Glasgow was voted the greatest City in Britain, beaten London. it also beat London for diversity and character aswell as the best shopping experience. Glasgow central train station won an award as the best in Britain. i highly recommend Glasgow. awright m8.

Glasgow is such an excellent place. I used to really want to leave Scotland and go study in England (preferably London) but I've really warmed to Glasgow since I actually went out and started to discover the city. My love for Glasgow also coincided with me turning 18, which is the legal drinking age in the UK. Ahem...
The night life in Glasgow is fantastic, the city has a wonderful atmosphere, lots of great restaurants, and a really great music scene. There's loads of great bands in Glasgow, and always good gigs happening in the smaller venues. There's also some brilliant record stores in the city as well. I prefer it to London because everything in Glasgow is very accessible - London is far too big a city, whereas you can go from one end of Glasgow to the other without effort. It's a very homely city, not too big to be overwhelming, but big enough to have a great variety of things in it. I'm moving to Glsagow next year to study at Uni, and I can't wait for that...non stop partying and gigs. I haven't been to Edinburgh much, but it's pretty cool as well. Suicide are punk as hell just for making Frankie Teardrop. That song genuinely unsettles me big time. |
