Yeah. Back in their early days, AFI was a hardcore band, but wasn't getting airplay or selling a lot of records. Then they "matured" musically and signed to a major label, and now they sell tons of records.
Uh... mark1990, in my opinion American Idiot, musically speaking is more punk than Dookie (with the exception of the rawness). |

holy **** listen. i mean American Idiot was not PUNK. but Green Day are punk and always will be. They strayed away from punk when they created American Idiot. Why do dislike the album?

Greenday is not and will never be punk they are manufactured anger. An MTV radio pop band that likes to pretend to be punk.
