To be fair The Exploited have never really been taken seriously as a major band in the Punk movement, although they were the first Punk band I got into and I enjoy blasting them out now and again.

ha ha.
yeah, he ruined that song. but here comes the summer and my perfect cousin are good songs. Also, he didn't sing about the troubles been from NI at the time but sang tuneful punk stuff. Not the best but certainly a good one. I'd go for Strummer or Rotten but I guess you probably already know that. |

I voted Iggy Pop in the end, but I almost voted Stiv Bators. I saw a Dead Boys video of Sonic Reducer, and he was great, lots of energy, and when he took off his jacket he had these gross hamburgers stuck to his shirt, reminded me a bit of The Damned.
And even though he wasnt technically a frontman, "Captain Sensible" should get an Honorable Mention. |
