Pop punk, and that was only Buddha, Cheshire Cat, and Dude Ranch (though more commercial than the previous two).

Maybe not the best ever, but Davey Havok should be mentiond. I personally voted for Glenn Danzig.

Davey Havok? Lmao. AFI was only punk until about '99 or 2000, and they were by no means great or important.

maybe not to u but to some im sure they were, and considering they joined in 91' that gives 9 years of punk. Laugh all u guys want, but if u can find one band that can cover a misfits song better then AFI pls tell me.

They did a great cover of Halloween. Don't get me wrong, I do like AFI's early music, but they are in no way legendary. They are definately not worthy of being put up there with the likes of Dead Kennedys, The Clash, Black Flag, Crass, or The Ramones.

Yeah Davy doesn't belong with the frontman up there. Those guys are legendary, they pushed boundaries and made punk known...Davy, has a few good years of punk under his belt but doesn't do anything unique when it comes to a great frontman IMO.

I didn't see David Thomas in the selection choices so I picked Greg Sage instead.
