Well, just because one member does doesnt mean that the whole band does, or acts like it.

I think it sounds like he cares about his vocals and how people think about him as an artist, not what he does with the music or what he says with it

And I have seen them in concert more than once, I know who they are.

They are what they are. A pop/rock band that entertains the casual music listener.

I agree. I'm not saying they're not sellouts, I'm saying that they care about their music.

Of course they "care" about the music, it brings money in.
In the end however, they still suck. :D
