"London Calling" (not very original, I know), followed by "Train In Vain" and "This Is Radio Clash."
* still mourning the passing of Joe Strummer *

White Man at Hammersmith Palais, Clash City Rockers, Magnificent Seven, Midnight To Stevens and Clampdown would all make my short list. Probably give the edge to White Man for essentially giving birth to a whole sub genre of punk.

2 - Police On My Back 3 - This Is England (A shining moment from an otherwise flawed album) 4 - This Is Radio Clash (Don't know why, but it's powerful to me) 5 - Clampdown 6 - Guns of Brixton 7 - London Calling 8 - Janie Jones 9 - The Magnificent Seven 10 - I Fought the Law Last edited by Screen13; 01-03-2011 at 06:51 PM. |
